A seminar on “New Approaches in Foreign Language Teaching” was conducted by the School of Foreign Languages of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.

The Director of the School of Foreign Languages, Chief Advisor to the Rector Prof. Dr. Recai Doğan said in his speech at the beginning of the seminar, that the universities are institutions where the highest level of knowledge is produced. As  an institution, it has inputs, processes and outputs. He also stated that efforts will be made to transform the inputs related to foreign language teaching into the most beneficial outputs by going through the most effective and efficient processes, and that Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, which has made great strides in every field, will achieve a higher success than ever in language teaching. He said that all kinds of infrastructure will be created.

In four sessions, the topics of "New Perspectives in Foreign Language Teaching", "The Objectives of Foreign Language Teaching and Learning-Teaching Processes", "Instructional Materials and Information Technologies in Foreign Language Teaching" and "Assessment and Evaluation in Foreign Language Teaching" were discussed.
