The “Turkish Film Days of Türkiye and Kyrgyzstan,” aimed at strengthening cultural and artistic cooperation between the two countries, will be held for the tenth time this year in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan's capital.

The event is organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Culture, Information and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic. The festival will take place from June 3 to 7 in cooperation with the General Directorate of Cinema of Türkiye, the Department of Cinematography of Kyrgyzstan, the Embassy of Türkiye in Bishkek, and the Yerli Düşünce Association.

All film screenings within the festival's scope will be open to the public free of charge for five days.

During the event, university talks, meetings with producers and directors, cultural tours, and various industry-related activities will be organized to enhance international cooperation in cinema.

The festival’s opening gala will be held on June 3 at the Ala-Too Cinema in Bishkek with the participation of Birol Güven, Director General of Cinema of Türkiye.

The opening screening will feature the film Are We Happy? (Mutluyuz mu). The gala night will be attended by the film’s lead actor İbrahim Büyükak, producer Hasan Koray Şahin, and writer-director Murat Emre Kaman.

The event will also host actress Deniz Barut and director Yüksel Aksu from Here Comes the Postman (Bak Postacı Geliyor), director Murat Çeri of Creating a Man (Bir Adam Yaratmak), director Ensar Aksoy of Kanto, as well as numerous producers, directors, actors, and representatives of the film industry.

As part of the festival, the films Mutluyuz Mu, Bak Postacı Geliyor, Bir Adam Yaratmak, Kanto, and Efesin Sırrı (The Secret of Ephesus) will be screened for cinema enthusiasts in Bishkek.
