Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubayev received OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioğlu in Bishkek.
According to a statement by the Foreign Ministry’s press service, the meeting was held at the ministry’s residence, where the parties discussed the longstanding cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), as well as regional security issues.
During the meeting, projects under the OSCE’s three main dimensions — politico-military, economic-environmental, and human - were reviewed.
Kulubayev emphasized the importance of OSCE-led projects in priority areas for Kyrgyzstan, including the fight against corruption and organized crime, digitalization, judicial and law enforcement reforms, and climate change.
He also expressed gratitude to the organization for its contribution to the country’s democratization process and stability.
Sinirlioğlu, for his part, expressed satisfaction with the high level of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the OSCE, noting that the organization’s support for Kyrgyzstan will continue with determination.

As part of his visit, OSCE Secretary General Sinirlioğlu was also received by Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Marlen Mamataliyev, who stated that Kyrgyzstan aims to expand its dialogue with the OSCE.
Mamataliyev stressed that solidarity among OSCE participating States is essential in the current geopolitical environment, adding that they aim to strengthen ties, particularly within the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
Highlighting the significant changes taking place in Kyrgyzstan, Sinirlioğlu said:
“The OSCE, bringing together 57 participating States, has been actively cooperating with Kyrgyzstan for 34 years. We attach special importance to joint work and parliamentary relations across all areas — from security and human rights to the economy and environment.”
As part of his visit, Sinirlioğlu also visited the OSCE Academy in Bishkek and the OSCE Programme Office.
