Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (KTMU) was awarded the Green Zone Certificate, which is given to institutions that are safe in terms of COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan.

KTMU became the first university in Kyrgyzstan to be awarded this certificate. This certificate is given to institutions where 70 percent of the employees had been vaccinated; this rate is 86.6 percent at KTMU.

Murat Osmonov, Head of the Lenin District Administration in Bishkek, who presented the certificate, expressed his gratitude to the KTMU administration and its members for their active work in the fight against the pandemic.

KTMU has been working very effectively in the fight against COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic. To date, KTMU members have been given training on combating COVID-19, all areas of the university have been disinfected, social distancing and mask usage rules have been carefully followed, Manas Radio and Manas Television of KTMU broadcasting in the country cooperated with the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan and radio and television programs were made in the union. Television programs produced by MEDIAMANAS were also broadcast on the country's state television.
